About Rebecca:

Rebecca Convey founded Kinetic Pilates in 2009 to bring Romana’s Pilates training to North London. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she now lives in London with her husband and two daughters. Over the years, Rebecca has supported and nurtured countless dance and Pilates students, building a highly successful training programme, hosting international events, and inspiring clients at all fitness levels.

With a background in Contemporary Dance (BFA) and Choreography (Master's degree), Rebecca’s career spans performing, choreographing, and teaching. She was the artistic director of Kinetic Dance Company and headed the dance department at Susi Earnshaw Theatre School. Her journey into Pilates began after using the method to recover from dance-related injuries, a car accident, pregnancies, and two emergency C-sections.

Rebecca’s passion for Pilates has made her a trusted teacher for many clients who have achieved the “impossible” or regained mobility and confidence after injury. Known for her energy, vision, and deep understanding of the body, Rebecca’s Pilates approach transforms lives.

Rebecca is a Level III Romana’s Pilates Instructor Trainer and has trained with leading figures in the Pilates world, including Stephanie Guimond, Marjorie Oron, Jane Powerwoatmodjo and Sari Mejia Santo. Recently, she expanded her vision with the opening of a second Kinetic Pilates location in Shoreditch, continuing her mission to help even more people experience the benefits of Pilates.
